This has been a better week in terms of motivation, outcomes and I wanted to really pay close attention to what's going on out there in the world. Some of it has been very positive, new points of view and of course the things that dominate the media space. Outrage (Justified/Deserved), victories (Cathartic/Motivational) and the like...

That's Not Why You're Here!

I know! You came for my unique insight/commentary and let's be honest the damn jokes where applicable! Instead, you're getting a live look at what it takes to get me back on track. Things have been anything but smooth sailing. This is partly why I make a good Scrum Master, I prepare for the best possible weather, however, I modify my vessel when the tide turns suddenly. I channel my frustration into something I can utilise. Change is what makes me greater. As they say, "Straight roads rarely make a great driver."

Speaking of drivers; that Lewis Hamilton business hey! Reminds me of the video I made that got me first ever YouTube Strike for defending Lewis when they robbed him of his title last season. They wouldn't allow creative license even though it was clearly commentary and not an attempt at re-creating a live event. I edited the radio audio myself as well. Still, they took umbrage with one clip I slowed down for visual effect. Check it out!

Double Standards Everywhere

Yes I've seen how people who never saw issues with matters of discrimination, tyranny or any type of ism were suddenly calling on BW to join their voices with them. Then you also saw the way the media takes unnecessary swipes at excellence when it doesn't wear W.h.i.t.e skin by the way they handled the largest Tik Tok'er on the planet vs naming the person he dethroned. It's amazing how so much time passes whilst things remain exactly the same!

Support for Others

I have for quite some time cheered on as others arrive at new milestones and make progress no matter how small. It is something I enjoy doing, you got a new job? New house? New spouse? I'm very much happy for you and inspired to haul ass in my own endeavours. How many people that I pull for, pull for me? I've never had to ask this question before! The reason I did? My business depends on that answer; my mentor will not let me rest if I don't have the answer! Haha!

This lead me to asking if it is true everyone has an audience? I believe it to be more complicated than that. It is partly why the most negative or low hanging fruit is the most popular and the heights of excellence is naturally avoided. That is years of human conditioning at play. On this platform, I show up for people who I have never asked to show up for me. Would they if I really needed them to? Do I have tell them it's an SOS situation? Are all the laws I disagreed with in the 48 Laws of Power truer than I gave them credit for?

The Best Parts of The Week

An Adjudicator ruled in my favour regarding my Fibre Optic Broadband ISP. They agree I have been treated poorly and that I deserve to be compensated for that. It only took 9 months to get there but hey! Next step is Apple, I have had to call upon the patience of a Tibetan Monk and it's still not enough just yet...

I have been getting a few looks regarding my career situation and had some good conversations, I still find sometimes interviewers try to push the envelope too much, however, at least they take checking a lot better than they used to. One of them asked me, "If you are interviewing with multiple companies and it's going well, why haven't you made a decision on whom to focus on yet?" I asked them in return - if they rush important decisions in their household? HA GOT EEM! ??

Favourite New Perspective

The difference between a millionaire and a billionaire is mindset. A billionaire knows how to make others millionaires. I guess I'm already a billionaire then! That made me happy! LMAO see you all again next week!
