As we are all coming back from our summer holidays; it is a good time for me to retrospect on the last month's activities and to look forward to the events to come.

Part of our strategy for 2023 was to focus on our existing and potential customers with an in-depth look into our solutions and applications.

Beside the regular activities in our local center of competence, I was very proud of the results we achieved at the two 'Global Solution Days' that took place in our two main plants of Losone and Biel.


I herewith take the opportunity to thank all the companies that attended from around the world. It was exciting to see our customers meeting with our application engineers and specialists for a healthy exchange of experiences: this added value can be better achieved in a dedicated in-house event. Besides that: automation, tooling and last but not least the opportunity to make an in-depth observation of how we produce our accurate machines in Switzerland!

This is the main reasoning and motivation behind our decision to not partake in some main shows during 2023 like EMO.



A good example is this #kneeimplant: machining time improved by 30%, thanks to the development with tool-makers and dedicated programming. A solution that we are now able to offer to our customers as a great competitive advantage and showcased at the #MedicalDay in October 2023.

Wherever these kind of technologies lead us, we will be ready to help our customers succeed and achieve their goals.

The approach to looking back and then planning forward is spot. Focusing on existing customers while exploring potential ones is a fine balance and I'm glad to see you're striking it. I've always believed that our customers are our best teachers - they give the most practical insights.
