60th Venice Biennale: “Foreigners Everywhere”
This week, the Ukraine Pavilion was opened in Venice — until 24 November 2024. It’s built around several approaches based on metaphors and real-life practices alike, among which is the “Net Making” project — symbolising the society woven together but also reminding how intermingled today’s society really is. Through all the hardships, Ukrainians are finding their place across the world and challenging the “otherness” by integrating into a global society while keeping the ties with the homeland, reclaiming the agency and moving forward — as do our businesses, as do our people.
