It’s a wrap! 2024 in review

Our world-class recycling hub in Dubai Industrial City has recycled so many things this year that we almost lost count! But we obviously didn’t lose count – we keep extensive records of everything that we process, and every December we look back on the year to see the full picture of what we have achieved. The numbers are huge!

• In the IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) department, 136.24 tons of equipment came through our doors in 2024. We follow international standards of data protection and destruction, after which working devices are either destroyed or, where possible, repaired.

• This year to date, we have processed 41.15 tons of refrigerant gas. When we look at this figure in terms of environmental savings, it translates to 39,627,450kg of CO2 and 1,585,089 trees saved.

• We treated 2,274.43 tons of specialized waste, which is old and expired products, or counterfeits. This translates to 7,482,874kg CO2 and 299,314 trees saved.

• E-waste, which is one of our biggest departments, saw 1,140.99 tons being processed through our facility, saving 216,365,933kg CO2 and 8,654,637 trees.

Special Milestones in 2024:

• 20th Anniversary: 2024 marks the 20th year of operation for Enviroserve, celebrating two decades of leadership in environmental sustainability and recycling.
• Strategic Acquisitions: This year, we expanded our reach and capabilities thanks to being acquired by two major companies. These partnerships have not only bolstered our operational capacity but have also enhanced our technological prowess and geographic footprint.
