It’s not about working harder (do this instead)

Sadly, most people think that the way to get better results is to work a lot harder.

You may have thought that in the past, too.

But it’s exhausting. And it’s not true.

Instead, what I want to share with you today is that…the results you create are an exact reflection of something far more personal, more internal.

In fact, it has nothing to do with working harder, as I’m sharing with you in today’s video.

OK, so you and I can agree that the entrepreneurial dream is to be making money “in your sleep.” At least theoretically.

Many people don’t think it’s possible, but it is …

…it is absolutely possible to make more money, in half the time, and increase your income year, after year, after year.

How?

It starts with your identity.

Wait, what????

Yes, it starts with how you see yourself. Here’s how:

Identity drives behavior. As a coach and mentor to thousands of business owners over the last 18 years, I have a unique insight into the relationship of results and how people see themselves. I get to witness the self-talk that either lifts a business owner higher or keeps them stuck in a cycle of self-sabotage.

Without a positive self-image, it doesn’t matter how skilled you are as a business owner, or how excellent your service is. Without a strong self-image, your business will continue to chug along at the same speed.

Why? Because all action stems from your self-image (or identity), which is a combination of all of your beliefs about yourself.

So, all of those beliefs that you have about yourself matter. “I am” is how you interpret all of the experiences, results, choices and decisions that you have through the filter of your beliefs and project them onto the world.

Want to know your most deeply held beliefs? All you have to do is look at your life. It’s a perfect mirror for you to see them.

The following formula might not make sense just reading it here, until you watch today’s video, which explains it all:

Self worth -> Beliefs -> Language (I am…) -> Self Image -> Actions -> Results -> Reality

The good news? We can change our beliefs. We can shift our self-identity. We can become the next best version of ourselves with a decision.
