We have all been there at one point or another. ?
You just had an amazing weekend of content building.?
The week started off fine. Just fine. ?
You had an initial sales call. No pitch, just info gathering. ?
You sent the follow up.?
And crickets. ?
So the doubt sets in... ?
This leads to the negative thoughts that cause those flipping limiting beliefs to scream at you...?
“I’m not good enough!”?
“I’m not resonating with my audience!”?
“I’m a fraud!”?
I’m a _________!” (Send me a note with what you’re struggling with)?
Here are five ways to beat back the voice in your head and win the rest of the week.?
Don’t try to fix it all today?
Remember it took your whole life to get to today. You cannot change that 100% overnight. Fix your mind 1% for the next 100 days and in three months you will be a different person.?
Make sense of what you’re feeling ?
Rational reflection combats irrational beliefs. The universe has a Law that actually defines this: The Law of Opposites. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. You literally cannot fix your limiting beliefs by using the same thinking process... Do. The. Opposite.?

Focus only on what you can change?
You will not wake up tomorrow with the other half of Jeff Bezos’ fortune. But you can spend time in your presentation and pitch and try little tweaks to improve your path to the next sale. Much like the ‘rational reflection’ from #2, use Practical Identification to give yourself the power to change.?
Uncover the source of your thoughts?
Everyone’s favorite psychotherapist Dr. Sigmond Freud suggests that all of our shortcomings are linked to the parent of opposite gender. For this exercise, that is a cop-out. So, don’t use that as the source code. Reflect back to a time that made you feel less. Was it the mean people in high school? A bully on the playground in elementary school. There is a specific incident that created the first line of the source code that is now your day-to-day thinking. Identify it. Write it down. And begin the process of exorcising it from your program. (Professional note, you may need to seek professional, medical help to correct the problem you uncover. Please give mental health the highest level of attention and support those going through issues).?
Give yourself a hall-pass?
Seriously. Give yourself permission to grow. This may seem like a vanilla action item, but there are way too many people sitting in self-doubt and pity right now who will not allow themselves to grow. Take 1-2 small actions every day to build up your confidence and be the person you need be to show up and allow your essence to shine! You are here on purpose. Allow yourself to reach for your full potential. ?
You are on your journey ON PURPOSE. You are in the place you are supposed to be.?You put in the time, sweat, and tears to get your business to the point it is today. So, don’t get derailed by the little, demon voice in your head. That really is your source code screwing with you. Find the source, download the new code, iterate until the new code takes over, and scale your confidence so your essence can shine on the world!?
Take some time today to sit in this thought:?
“I am good enough to be in the business I am in.”?
“I am the answer to my client’s problems.”?
“I have enough time to get it all done.”?
“I am a strong, powerful person.”?
