1. Ever notice that royalty always recognizes royalty? Watching the monarchs or the world interact with each other, there is always a level of ceremony and respect. Once it is reciprocated, the interaction can continue. Then deals, treaties and joint ventures usually follow, with mutual gain and benefit. At no time will royalty deal with a village idiot, or court jester on this level. When they do descend to meet them where they are, it is usually to grace them charitably out of pity, or for entertainment purposes only. Use this knowledge to assess the interactions you experience in this season. Is it mutually regal, or are you just the entertainment for the reigning court? ??
2. Never allow anyone to disregard, or carelessly dismantle your name. One of the biggest pet peeves I have is when a person absolutely refuses to say or spell my name correctly. I have even experienced people rebuttal with "oh you know what I mean" or "everybody spells it different but it sounds the same" and even "it's not that serious"! Well, as a matter of fact it is pretty serious to me. My name...the letters in it...the pronunciation of it, has meaning. Maybe not to you... but to me, the woman who gave it to me, and the God who ordained it in this universe... it is a significant stamp in time. It is the fastest way to get my full attention, whether in a scream or a whisper. Don't allow anyone to tell you that THAT is not a big deal. As a matter of fact, it is THE BIGGEST DEAL OF YOUR LIFE... what do you answer to? ??
