It’s Time for a Water Awakening
Water is so basic that you’d think we’d know everything about it by now. But last year, scientists at the Oak Ridge National Lab discovered that in addition to its solid, liquid and gas forms, there is a fourth state of water. When it’s put under extreme pressure in small spaces, a distinctly different liquid version of water forms. Amazing. But it's the water facts we already should know that will impact us most. Water is finite; nature is not producing more, nor will it. Water is already scarce and demand keeps growing. The good news -- water is the original recyclable material, and we’re going to have to get smart about that, because by 2030, demand for water will exceed supply by 40%.
