7 年I just tried it out as well. First thoughts are: - for designer, the possibility to (re)use discover module will lead to less trouble to create apps from others insight discoveries. Also I do like the composite module again a big time saver. - on Lumira, I'm a bit let enthusiast. Shouldn't be that part to have a match with Tableau?! Sorry to say that it is far from it. Even Webi have more Discovery capabilities than lumira :-(. Data discovery tools should be possible with the least data prep as possible, but looking at lumira poor functions, it is not possible: - where are the context calculations (should not be only in Viz aggregate calculations function. Quick example, a year column along with a sales measures. How to create growth or even simple delta calculation from current year vs previous. I'm still in discovering phase, but knowing well both Webi and Tableau not give good feedback from discovery.

7 年Just started using Lumira 2.0. At first glance, I like the compact interface of Lumira discovery than the old bubbly layout. One thing I did not like : the absence of csv data source in Lumira designer offline mode. Who did not have lumira but used to use design studio offline mode for quick prototype using csv data source, they will not be happy.
