It's time to start negotiating every business expense.
It's a buyers market (and I am not taking real estate).
For the last few years business costs have increase exponentially, we lived in a sellers market where price increases and sticker shock was the norm.
But, things have changed. Every sales organization out there is telling their people to retain the business and negotiate if necessary.
You need to capitalize. Not only are prices negotiable again the landscape is perfect to do so - the market is in flux (scaring execs) and their sales teams either grew up in an era (the last few years) where they didn't have to have difficult negotiations or their skills are rusty.
That is to your advantage. Take advantage.
Every dollar you negotiate down is one more on the bottomline and with recession looming you're going to need it.
