It's Time to Respect Our Bodies.
Let's stop judging our bodies. Right now. People everywhere today are encouraged to see themselves in the mirror and make the most extraordinary judgements, usually negative and often quite insulting. And these judgements are harmful to our wellbeing. Why do we react to our bodies in this way? Why are we constantly comparing our bodies to the images displayed on television, in magazines, on social media and in the make-believe world of advertising?
These unrelaistic judgements on our bodies only reflect our inner insecurities and have little to do with reality. It's time to make peace with our bodies. It's time to learn to appreciate the miracle that our bodies represent. So, when you get out of bed in the morning and shuffle to the bathroom, please remember to smile at yourself in the mirror. You might feel slightly absurd or even self-conscious but that doesn't matter.
Make a habit of miling at yourself and change your relationship with your body. If you want your body to be fitter, healthier, stronger with more energy and greater well-being, start by showing your appreciation for what your body gives you every single day. It'll be the start of a beautiful new relationship.
