Railways Successfully Run First Double Stack Container Train In Electrified Territory: World Record

During this COVID-19 pandemic, there are so many lessons we learn and so many new ways to survive and fight with the situation we learn. This is so true for human beings and the nation itself. My father serves Indian railways for almost 40 years & my grandfather serves his 42 years and in-fact my two uncles & some other family members are still working, that was a time railways never do such massive things in the field of transportation, but from last 6 years, they are doing such a massive change in cargo, freights and transportation of goods. Here you can see the right example which they have done during COVID-19 which Increase the loading limit to transport double the number of goods, This successfully operates a double stack container train from Palanpur to Botad in Gujarat. Indian Railways created a new world benchmark by successfully running the first double-stack container train in high rise OHE electrified sections, which has a contact wire height of 7.57 metre. The Railway Ministry further said that "in spite of the time that was lost under the nationwide lockdown to combat the spread of novel coronavirus, the national transporter is focusing to surpass last year's freight figures".

This is really proud moment and good news for India.

It is a sign of #NewIndia, shows how India is capable of providing a world-class facility for movement of goods by any transportation network (Roads in India,?Water transport in India,?Aviation in India,?Cargo,& Railways Transport in India).
