It's time to innovate in cloud

Your monthly roundup of the key technology and leadership trends from HCLTech Trends and Insights

Welcome to the September monthly update from HCLTech Trends and Insights. This month, HCLTech launched a global research report, titled Cloud Evolution: Make innovation a habit. The research, carried out in partnership with FT Longitude , surveyed 500 senior decision-makers across both business and IT to explore the transformative power of cloud.

In addition to the cloud research, the HCLTech Trends and Insights team released the latest edition of Straight Talk magazine, which focuses on how organizations across a variety of industries are embracing cloud to drive innovation and business success. This issue also examines how technologies like generative AI can only be powered in cloud.

Beyond cloud, we discussed the cybersecurity trends shaking up the life sciences and healthcare industry and the defining insurance trends in the APAC region in the HCLTech Trends and Insights podcast. We also covered HCLTech’s collaboration with the Design Museum in London, which showcased the iconic sari that exemplifies India’s vibrant and innovative culture.

Key themes highlighted across these topics in the past month are summarized for you below:

The intersection of design and technology: The Offbeat Sari

In modern India, the sari is more than just a piece of clothing; it's a symbol of identity and resistance. Women across the country use the sari as a powerful tool for self-expression. The exhibition showcases how designers and wearers have transformed the sari into a symbol of empowerment, breaking free from stereotypes and embracing its versatility. This article examines the role of the sari, with a focus on the importance of design innovation:
