It's time to Glam-cycle!

The Fairy Godmother Initiative will be hosting their 8th Annual Prom Dress Boutique Event April 19 and May 3rd, where they will offer young high school senior women a free dress for prom.

There is no cover charge for young women to attend our events. However, we do ask them to pay it forward by bringing a personal care item (such as toothpaste, toothbrushed, bars of soap, feminine products, etc). These items will be collected during our events and donated to Alpha Community Services who address basic human needs for shelter, dignity and self sufficiency by providing a range of housing opportunities and supportive services.

We are currently accepting gently used, clean, formal dresses for our events. We are looking for organizations and groups to organize dress drives to help us collect dresses. If you have a dress that you would like to donate and are outside of the Connecticut area, you can mail your donation along with an estimated value of your dress to:
