While we applaud these achievements, it's also time to reflect: Why did we need a Women's Day?
The answer lies in the underrepresentation of women in leadership roles across industries.
?? As of 2023, women hold approximately 32.2% of senior leadership positions globally, which includes roles such as Director, Vice-President, and C-suite positions.
?? In India, women held only 10% of management roles and were just 5% of CEOs in 2021!
These figures prove that we still have a long way to go on the road to true equity.
