Open Letter To Senior Team At UK’s Finest Hotels To Try Our Award-Winning Biscotti


It hasn’t been an easy ride for the UK’s top tier hotel community with the Summer rug ripped unceremoniously from under its collective feet. Long lazy summers, enticing English breakfasts, easy access to the Great British countryside, late night roaring fires, a pint of locally brewed ale and a meticulously crafted restaurant feast are just a few of many simple pleasures temporarily lost to the Great British public during Lockdown.

Fortunately, the Great British public is once again venturing out at weekends and for ‘last-minute’ breaks, so we thought now was the perfect time to send this open letter out to the discerning Food & Beverage Manager fraternity.

On first inspection it would appear that a small artisanal bakery in Dorset has very little to bring to the party in terms of hotel turnarounds and on many levels that is an undeniable truth. AND YET, on another level we’ve always believed that it’s the little things in life that can make a real difference when differentiating oneself from one’s rivals.

Pre- Lockdown, The Great British Biscotti Co was making real inroads within the nation’s upmarket hotel estate, not simply providing the perfect accompaniment to any meticulously made Flat White or Latte in the hotel bar but as the ‘going the extra yard’ treat in each and every room.

We’ve nothing against the ever-reliable Bourbon or unashamedly symmetrical Shortbread, but for anyone seeking something a little extra rugged and indulgent, our extended range of biscotti twin-packs (both everyday & gluten-free) provide the perfect any-time treat for any hot beverage enthusiast.

It’s also worth noting that our hotel range comes in planet-friendly (compostable) packaging, which has to be the future.

Spot on - there's nothing worse that booking into a lovely weekend away to reach your room and be greeted by a Ferrero choc, some crappy mainstream soft drink, the blandest Twinings options known to mankind and a lost-in-time shortbread - top tier independent hotels should seek out and support the new swathe of #madeintheuk #artisanal offerings Dalston's Soda Co. @MadeForDrink @GBbiscotti @dormousechocs - because that will further differentiate the experience BoutiqueHotels.co.uk
