It's Not the Tech That Stops Us

Real talk. Why don't some of us post more video clips of ourselves?

It's not the tech, it's because we can be so self-critical. I'm very guilty of this, too. I understand. I get it.

"I don't know what to say."

"I don't feel photogenic."

"I'm terrible on camera."

No, you're not. You have value to share and people want to hear it.

This is me spontaneously working to get past my own inner critic and what I suspect others may go through at times:

One of my sweetest friends is a wellness coach ( Stephanie Gehler ) and she's the voice in the above clip who is encouraging me.

And I love to do that in my work, too.

Not just film, edit, post, but to ENCOURAGE.

And YES, sometimes it's easier said than done to put up our phones, our cameras and film ourselves. I think this is why I love to help people with video so much. It's not the tech. It's because I can relate. And I want to support. I have so many people who have supported me and I want to keep it going.
