It's snow joke if the headlines are true…

Just as Christmas decorations creep onto supermarket shelves and Santa dusts off his sleigh, the tabloid headlines forecast abysmal winter weather and this year is no different. 

It seems that ‘The Beast from the East 2’ and ‘Arctic Storms’ are on their way, which can mean only one thing...snow! 

So, what’s the best type of car for driving on snow? 

Having owned front wheel, rear wheel and all-wheel drive cars, my money is on all-wheel or 4x4, perhaps coupled with winter grade tyres for areas prone to lots of the white stuff. 

Other than driving an enormous 4x4, what are your options for driving on snow?
