IT'S A SMALL WORLD

One of the best parts of being a Podcast Guest is the ability to interact with people all over the world without leaving home.

My recent two-week trip to Ireland was a celebration of my birthday and the fulfillment of a life-long dream. ?I loved the country, the people, and the whole experience. However, the travel to and from this wonderful experience was horrific.

The airline cancelled our return flight the morning we were driving to the airport to embark on our adventure. The resulting tumultuous, frustrating interaction with the two airlines involved nearly killed me…literally. It left a nasty hangover after a fabulous party.

A few days after my return, I was enjoying a Podcast Guest experience with a dozen ladies who had met at an on-line workshop and formed a group centered on their common interest.?Each was from a different country, and it was delightful exchanging our locations.

One woman was from Ireland, and I told her of my recent visit. She asked what I particularly enjoyed, and I mentioned “The Giant’s Causeway”. She clapped her hands and said “That’s where I live! If I’d known this a week ago, you could have come by my house for tea!”

Wow! What a blessing being a Podcast Guest can be when you make an instant friend halfway across the globe. Making connections with people outside your small circle of acquaintances can enrich your life in ways you’ve never imagined.

One of my recent podcast guest appearances has over 41,000 views and 400+ Comments after only 6 days. It is amazing, heart-warming, and humbling to read responses to what you have shared. It is intimate and bonding in a way only possible previously by face-to-face experiences.
