It's a Small World: Dreamcasting for 2024

It's a Small World: Dreamcasting for 2024

Greetings Friends

As 2023 ends, I want to share a dream I had last year at this time, which was to bring more impact and value to my clients and friends by extending my reach beyond LA.

Thankfully, Compass had in place a remarkable platform, allowing me to locate, research and instantly refer realtors across the country (check out the short video below). But I wanted to go deeper and using the platform as a jumping off place, I spoke with hundreds of agents to better understand their values and methodology so that I could feel really comfortable when introducing them to you.

And I’m thrilled to say that it’s a success. Referral partners have joined from New York to Florida, from Aspen to Nashville, from Seattle to San Diego and in the process I've made 7 successful referrals. And, it's only the beginning. In 2024, I’ve got incredible referral partners lined up in Raleigh, Austin, Phoenix, Greenwich and Lake Tahoe and it’s not even January.

So, now I invite you to do a bit of dreamcasting. Whether it's a primary, secondary or investment property where can you envision yourself in 2024 and beyond? Let me play a small but critical role in helping you realize that dream by introducing you to a high performing realtor that will become an important advocate on your behalf.

Wishing you a wonderful end of year/ps

COMPASS Everywhere

The Compass Network comprises almost 30,000 real estate professionals across the United States. Take a look at how easy it is to get connected to any of them.

Small Network: Big Reach

As I mentioned, I've been putting together an informal group of collaborative realtors from all across the country. Here are the first eleven that have joined with me to provide world-class representation for you. I'd be thrilled to introduce you to any of them.

Cliff O'Sullivan: Nashville

Before becoming a realtor, Cliff O’Sullivan spent four decades in the music business in senior roles of Marketing and Artist Development. I love working with Cliff and recommend him to anyone considering a move or investment in the Nashville area.

Annie Baldo: Aspen

A native Brazilian, Annie Baldo fell in love and relocated to Aspen Valley 25 years ago. After spending 17 years managing luxury brands, both there and in NYC, she turned her passion for design and customer service into a vibrant real estate practice.

Danielle Sevier: The West Village

Danielle Sevier is flat-out cool and her moniker, Zen in the Art of Real Estate, is an apt one as she is an oasis of serenity, while fiercely guarding her client’s best interests. And while she applies her skills on behalf of clients all over the city, it is downtown, in the West Village where she has lived and worked for 25 years, that she can truly be called a street-by-street expert.

Ellen & Janis: Boston

I first met Ellen and Janis at the Compass Retreat in Atlanta, where I was impressed by their warmth, knowledge and sense of community. And it’s that last part that is so important. Because they have lived and worked in the area for over 35 years, they have a deep understanding and appreciation of the neighborhoods they both serve and love.

Jill Livingston: San Clemente

I met Jill last year when I visited the Compass Dana Point office for a full day of networking. I was immediately taken in by her infectious personality; Jill is flat out fun to hang with. That all that personality is backed by years of excellence navigating all aspects of the real estate experience on behalf of her clients makes her even more remarkable.

Claire Paris: Portland, OR

In our digital world, just about anything can be found through a simple google search. But how can you trust the results will be top quality? That’s where Claire Paris comes in. She’s an uber connected realtor who has spent decades building her knowledge base so she can help her clients find the right people for the right job, whether it’s a lender, plumber, or the best pizza joint in all of Portland. And she does it all with a welcoming smile.

Greg Volland: Coeur d'Alene

Greg Volland is an expert when it comes to the intricacies of analyzing investment properties, executing value-add renovations designed to maximize a home’s value and purchasing new home construction. Which is a good thing for anyone looking to build a life on the banks of Lake Coeur d’Alene where Greg lives with his wife, 2 active sons and a gaggle of Canadian geese.

Stephanie Lowe: Newport Beach

As one of the Newport's top realtors (almost $1 Billion in sales) Stephanie Lowe knows the area better than most because she understands its nuances better than most, coming not only from raising her four children there, but because she herself was born and raised there.

Chris Hurwitz: Boulder/Denver

As a member of the Kelly Moye Team, consistently one of the top producing teams in the Mountain States Region, Chris puts his heart and soul into his client’s homeownership dreams, servicing the greater Boulder/Denver area, from Centennial to Longmont and all points in between.

Laurie Spector: Ft. Lauderdale

As leader of one of the pre-eminent real estate groups in all of Florida, Laurie Spector is a powerhouse who sets high standards, both for her team and for her clients. What does that mean for you? Accuracy, accountability, precision, and results!

Barbara Benotto: Alameda County

Barbara Benotto has lived in the Tri-Valley region for over 25 years. Before she began her real estate career in 2014, she developed construction products that made homes stronger and safer. Now, she likes to believe that as a realtor, she makes family connections stronger. And, after personally experiencing her warmth, deep knowledge, and love of community, I wholeheartedly agree with that assessment.

What is the role of an Agent?

After 40+ years of representing the best interests of my clients, I’ve learned a few things. First and foremost: it’s about YOU not ME.

My role is simply to help you get clear on your goals, provide opportunities that help you reach those goals, and then ensure you achieve those goals as effectively as possible.

If you know someone who could benefit from that level of advocacy, I'd be grateful for an introduction.

Thank you.

A native Angeleno, I grew up in a "show-biz family" and began my career as a third-generation theatrical agent impacting the careers of actors including the likes of Crispin Glover, Ray Liotta and Demi Moore. After beginning a family, I traded Sunset Blvd for Madison Avenue and spent the next 20 years in advertising, creating and implementing marketing strategies that drove new business growth, resulting in the successful onboarding of clients such as Coca-Cola, Comcast, Electronic Arts, Nike, Pinkberry, Princess Cruises and the US Army among many others.

I now apply those same principles of agency; integrity, accountability and hustle to my clients as we work together to define and fulfill their real estate strategies.

Absolutely! As Walt Disney famously said, "If you can dream it, you can do it." ?? Your vision for 2024 is the first step towards achieving it. Let's make those dreams a reality! ??? #dreambigworkhard

This is really one of the best written end of year posts I’ve seen. Your connection with the rest of your realtor community is phenomenal, as is the way you introduce them here — personal and insightful. Really, really well done.
