It's Satan, you dummy

Imagine you have 2 bottles. Both contain water, but one has pebbles inside, whereas the other does not. One would imagine that the one that has no pebbles only has water, right? Well, in the case of this article, no. For the one with no pebble DID contain one, but it was made of salt, which eventually dissolved and now it is invisible. Also, as it disssolved, it FILLED the entire bottle, so the entire water is salty, whereas with the one with pebbles the water has not changed flavour.

We could be the salt pebbles. That is what Jesus compared his followers with when he said "you are the salt of the earth". For salt can dissolve and occupy and entire area, and on top of that be invisible. And that's where its power comes from.

And how does that apply to the title of the article? That we should stop being such cowards and face the fact that the evil we see in the world is due to an enemy we refuse to name: Satan. Whereas we have no problem recognizing God, and in fact we use its holy name all the time in expressions such as "Thank God!", we refuse to acknowledge that He has an enemy we should be aware of: Satan. Yes, S-A-T-A-N. Which means "accuser", as he continuously claims we humans suck and should have never been created.

We are like in the Harry Potter movie, where people do not call the bad guy "Voldemort" by its name and instead refer to him always using sideway terms, insist that he is defeated, and refuse to accept Harry Potter's claims that he is coming back. In more real terms, it is like when no one believed Churchill's claims that Hitler was going to invade all of Europe and, instead, believed that pointless piece of paper that Hitler had signed promising not to invade.

So, instead of effectively opposing Satan, we oppose his fruits: the horrors we see happening in Gaza, in Ukraine, in Sudan, even around us! And so we post online our opinions, we throw blame on the poor useful idiots that perpetrated such horrors, we accuse others of stuff we'd probably do ourselves if we were in their ignorance.

Yes, ignorance more than anything. For Jesus said when he was cruficied "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing!", and he meant it: the ones crucifying him honestly thought they were doing themselves a favour, that if they did not do it Rome will come and destroy their country. And Jesus was not even the first to say that: long before, the prophet Hosea also said: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children"

Note the word "rejected". For that is the only thing really worth of blame. For we reject the knowledge and understanding that could, in the words of Jesus: "set you free". We reject the facts and thus let evil grow and invade just like Hitler did.

Jesus said several times "Do not be afraid", and that was not a recommendation, but an order. For fear is actually what gives Satan its power. Thus, when we do not acknowledge Satan's existance and instead focus only on his actions, when we post stuff online saying "The views are only mine and not my employers", or when we do not even mention those actions in fear of the consequences, we are just empowering him.

And for no reason, for when we follow Jesus we become the salt of the earth: invisible and able to change the flavour of an entire area. Also, the followers of someone who defeated Satan to the point of having divided the world's time in B.C and A.D.

Let's stop being cowards and think that because we speak about Satan's fruits online we are heroes and doing our part, when all we are doing is actually doing him a favour, as it only "proves" he is invincible, makes him even bolder, and creates fear in people, thus spreading the problem.

If we want to be really useful let's start posting about the root and not the fruit. The root is Satan, the fruit the horrors we see today and which will only increase as long as we keep being cowards and spreading fear to generate yet more cowards.

The wrongs we see today are not due really because of the poor useful idiots that follow a ruthless and cruel ruler that is Satan: they are only doing their jobs as the poor slaves they are. But if we choose to follow Christ, we will see he is a loving and just FATHER (that's why in the prophecy above says "your children") who expects his children to perform and oppose his enemy instead of just its fruits.
