It’s Okay to Be Ordinary ?

The race to be exceptional is adding to unbearable pressure, stress & anxiety which in turn is leading to severe mental, physical, psychological and emotional distress.. in turn leading to erosion of happiness quotient and family equations..
Not everyone can be extraordinary.. in the sense that while everyone is unique in their own way.. the pernicious attempt of those in power over others, to mould those in their power, within the confines of their definition of what is exceptional... is nothing short of a violent mutilation of individual excellence
Right from the school onwards we manufacture robots on assembly lines of societal conformity
thus chasing a mirage in the sands of impossibility…
Subsequently these robots who were trained on assembly lines to become great employees landed up in organizations, yet again to be baptized into new standards of pursued excellence.. what the leaders feel as standards from their exponential experience and their own comprehensions, dogmas or perceptions.. any outlier to these are battered into acquiescence or else battered into submission… there is no way out..
Away from all this is the ignored option.. that it’s okay to be ordinary.. it’s okay not to toe the lines of achievements that someone else considered as their own aspirations.. each individual has his/her own paths.. likings.. strengths.. capabilities and mindsets.. Would it be dreadful to conceptualize the possibilities of a world which took upon itself the initiative to harness the collective power

Parents enforce their ambitions and expectations on to their progeny.. yes the progeny might probably end up leading a relatively comfortable life.. but what about their own happiness and likes & dislikes… Organizations thump their chest on chasing the strength of diversity and inclusiveness.. but does that ever extend beyond caste, creed, gender and preferences??? Can it include diversity of talent
Food for thought certainly…
I meet hundreds of leaders at the top now and I am yet to find beyond fingercount .. those who are “happy” in the true sense… The conical top of self actualization seems to be stabbing and the futility of chasing goalposts that were alienated from the beliefs of soul and heart weighs very heavy.. and the impending emptiness of what awaits post that chair is yet another dreadful nightmare..
Rewind back to that molding on assembly lines when those in power might have possibly changed their methodology and nurtured individual excellence into an ocean of possibilities… At the cost of repetition, I reiterate that anyone who ever did anything worthwhile for humanity, for the progress of mankind or as mundane as inventions, entrepreneurial achievements, or was a success in the field of politics, sports, artistic avenues or just about any success in any field, was an outlier usually... one who wasn’t conforming to their fellow being's idea of success..
Leaders, Teachers, Parents & Religious Heads & Society Owners, can you consider the power of ordinary as the bedrock of uniqueness and not compelling souls into cauldrons of aspirations that aren’t theirs .. we just might create institutions, organizations, societies and nations that we aspire for… Please .. Please encourage courage in people you have influence over.. such that they can stand on their own .. and be individuals .. give them back their right to think and act independently on the strength of their unique qualities.. their souls came loaded with learnings across chapters of its existence through its travels in multiverses... now yearning to gather new learnings and build on existent inherent intrinsic talents, potential and energies to create .. not blindly follow.. this planet wasn’t meant to be a training and breeding ground for zombies programmed to specific agendas.. in doing so has been our actual primal sin.. unpardonable and unforgivable.. how much more price do we pay before we learn that mediocrity of programmed mindsets cannot ever generate excellence in existence…
Nourishing existential individuality
Food for thought certainly…
