I'm so grateful that people have decided to recognize that we need to talk about the effects of trauma and that we need to discuss what's going on emotionally, mentally, and physically, regardless of what people think. There are destinations that we all are headed towards and one of those destinations can be destruction if we're not careful to pay attention to our body and how it's responding. Let us be mindful and careful of how we take care how ourselves and how we judge others for taking care of themselves.
Different people have different needs and different ways of healing. I've really personally been thinking about this a lot lately and it's not necessarily just for myself but it's also for other people who are around us you know. I think sometimes when we talk about trauma or when we're showing signs that things aren't going well in our lives, people tend to turn away from the issue instead of facing it head on. I'm grateful that you aren't one of those persons.?
There is nothing wrong with showing signs of stress or self-destructive behaviors, so please don't feel bad if that's happening to you because everybody goes through this at some point. We all need help from time to time. That doesn't make you any less than what you are or what your potential can be. You're human.?
You should always put you first.
