It’s Not Okay, But It’s All Gonna Be Alright

I think it’s a Jelly Roll song, but I was listening to this the other day and I was like, ‘that’s a great quote for life, fitness and business in particular. I’m gonna write about that.’

Things may not be going alright, it might suck right now, but you have to know that it’ll eventually be alright.

In business, you are bound to start off in a rut. You are gonna be figuring things out, trying to understand how it all works and where you can make money/get clients. The thought process of it all sucks. But soon you’ll get into the groove. Clients start coming in, money starts rolling in, life starts getting a little better.

In fitness, the same thing applies. At first, that weight may not be coming off. You may not be jumping any higher, running any faster or getting any stronger. But staying consistent is going to change that for you.

This is why I love the mix of health, fitness and business so much. I apply it to my everyday life. Whether it’s the people I’m close with, random friends or even strangers. My interactions and dealings have come heavily from my knowledge in fitness and business. Things might suck now, but if you keep working at it, eventually you’ll become good. In a long time, you’ll become great. And time is what I have right now, I’m willing to sacrifice it to become great. Do this for me: it’s not okay, but it’s all gonna be alright. Tell yourself that. Understand that, please. Health, fitness, business. Keep going.
