It's Ok to Not Be Ok

It's Ok to Not Be Ok

Hi Dear,

I hope this reminder gives you some comfort, but if it doesn't, that's perfectly okay. Today, I want to share an important reminder with you—it's okay to not be okay.

In the Absence of "Okay," What Else Can I Be?

Life can be overwhelming, and there are days when feeling "okay" seems impossible. But even on those days, there are many other worthy things we can be. Here are some thoughts to guide you:

  • Be Gentle: Allow yourself the grace and kindness you would offer to a friend.
  • Be Unashamed: It's okay to feel whatever you're feeling. There's no need for guilt or shame.
  • Turn Pain into Connection: Use your experiences to connect with others who might be feeling the same way.
  • Be a Student of Stillness: Take a moment to breathe and find peace in the quiet.
  • Awaken to Nature: Step outside and find solace in the natural world around you.
  • Sharpen Empathy: Use your discomfort to deepen your understanding and compassion for others.

You Are Many Worthy Things

On days when you're not feeling okay, remember this—you are still many worthy things. You are resilient, compassionate, and capable of finding beauty in the small moments.

I hope these words bring you some comfort and remind you that you are not alone.

Warmly,

Zohra

P.S. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to a trusted friend, family member, or mental health professional. It’s okay to ask for help.
