“Listen. I wish I could tell you it gets better. But, it doesn’t get better. You get better.”??Joan Rivers
?Let’s be honest, living life on life's?terms can be a bitch.
?And that’s OK!!!!
?Some of you had a FANTASTIC YEAR?
?Others, go ahead admit it, it was a damn tough one.
?For me it was a challenge.
?Why not just acknowledge it?
?We’ve all had great years and then really sh**ty ones.
?LIFE IS NOT ALWAYS A BOX OF CHOCOLATES:
WHY DOES IT MATTER??In my experience many people are reluctant to say when things aren’t going well.
?Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn. Smiles, success, platitudes, all paint the picture we want or inspire to project.
?I wish I had a dollar (or five because of inflation) for all of the:
Happy New Year!!
Much continued success!!!
Wasn’t it a great year ??!!!!
"It’s a new fresh start"
?I?saw across?these platforms the past 10 days.
?What if we did a real inventory of our last year?
What did we accomplish? Where did we fall short or where did the unexpected throw a wrench in our plans?
MORE IMPORTANTLY –?WHAT DID WE LEARN FROM EVERYTHING THAT CAME OUR WAY IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS?
?GET INSPIRED…
Last week I listened to the?“Mel Robbins Podcast “?She?talked about the toughest year of her life. Life punched her in the face in 2022.
She was candid, NO BS and told it like it is.
As a coach, I loved it. I came away with a fresh perspective and an acknowledgement that it’s OK to say “NO EVERYTHING IS NOT GREAT, IT’S NOT OK.?
Now you have the freedom to make the choice of what you want to do with that.
?THE THREE LESSONS SHE LEARNED WERE:
*Your life is always trying to teach you something

*Your excuses are bullshit…behind every excuse is fear
*Change is not easy
IE – We’ve got to LIVE LIFE on LIFE’s TERMS. It’s how we respond and show up to Life’s ever changing terms that defines who we are.
