It’s official: CogX Festival 2021 will return to London this June!

Friends and Colleagues,

I hope that you are keeping safe and well as we ease our way out of lockdown. 

I’ve felt a huge sense of joy and relief, as we all have, to witness London reopen its doors and vaccines roll out faster than ever.  

With that, I’m incredibly proud to confirm that CogX Festival 2021 will return in person to King’s Cross Knowledge Quarter this June. And naturally we will be putting the health and safety of our community first. 

From 14th-16th June, you’re invited to be part of a connected experience as we bring together the world’s largest gathering of CEOs, Entrepreneurs, Academics, Artists, Activists & Policy Makers. 

It’s going to be the first truly hybrid festival of it’s kind and so there’s a whole raft of ways you can take part (details below) from being with us on-site to an unrivalled virtual experience. 

With so much exciting content to share, we’re also offering a free Standard Virtual Pass to ensure everyone in our community can participate.

What’s happening with this year’s CogX Festival?

As promised, CogX Festival 2021 will be one of the first major hybrid events to go ahead in 2021. Our event will run the vibrant in-person gathering at King’s Cross Estate alongside our virtual platform. You can either join us online and network from home, or come in person and fully experience some of our best sessions, engage face-to-face with speakers and reconnect with our welcoming community.

However you attend, I can promise you’ll be immersed in the knowledge and expertise of a distinguished line-up of speakers across 17 inspiring topics for three full days.

What’s so different about attending the Festival in person? 

We’re beavering away on our virtual platform to broadcast exciting content across thousands of screens around the world, but we know the real power of connection happens in person.

From face-to-face shop talk to celebrating team wins, there’s nothing quite like gathering in the real world to spark new connections, bond over common challenges and collaborate on innovative solutions. Having watched these connections being formed with my own eyes at our previous festivals, it’s a poignant reminder of why CogX Festival can bring some positivity to 2021. And, with fewer people on-site and a sprawling venue, this year we’re striking a perfect balance between safe and social. You can reignite human connection, have a socially-distanced drink with your professional circles and finally approach your industry heroes in person. 

It’s been an insanely exciting experience watching our sessions and framework come together, so whether you join us at King’s Cross for a few hours or three full days, I believe this will be your most productive and memorable time of the year.

How will CogX keep everyone safe at King’s Cross?

Your safety comes first. I understand some may feel apprehensive about gathering in person just yet, so we’re constantly raising the bar to make you feel as comfortable as possible on site. 

From showing a negative Covid test result on entry to wearing face masks and keeping social distance, we’re closely following the UK Government’s COVID-19 Guidelines and taking every last precaution. I was a little nervous, but the diligence of our team in crafting a Covid-free event alongside UK experts, has left me raring to go.

What happens to my in-person pass if restrictions ban large gatherings in June?

I’m sure you’re also keen to know what happens if Covid creeps back up and the Government enforces new restrictions. If this does occur, we’ll move all our brilliant speakers and sessions onto our lively virtual platform. As for your in-person pass, you can either ask for a full refund or get two in-person passes to CogX Festival 2022. Whatever you choose, we’ll also give you a free Premium Virtual Pass so you can join the 2021 Festival from home, where you can also interact with over 200 exhibitors on the virtual platform.
