It’s official - Cisco is one of Europe’s best workplaces!

THE best news to wake up to – it’s official, 思科 is one of Europe’s best workplaces! Today we were named #4 in Great Place To Work US ’s 2023 Best Workplaces in Europe (Multinational) and the highest ranking technology company ?????

As leader of our employees in the EMEA region, I knew this already of course. Not just from my own experiences in over 10 years with the company but, much more importantly, from what our teams tell me every day.??

And that’s the reason this recognition is so important. It’s not about having a nice trophy or logo. Although celebrating our successes, and each other, like we did here last month the Cisco Denmark team in the photo above (and of course Cisco Portugal) is one of the best parts of my job, for sure!?

It’s important because reflects what our people, across such a wide range of roles - from engineers to sales to finance to customer support and everything in between – do for our customers and partners. The value they create with our technology and their expertise, and the difference they make for our societies for example through our Country Digital Acceleration Program.?

Not only do I believe we have the absolute best people here at Cisco, doing an amazing job, but we have the best people looking out for each other, celebrating diversity and coming together to make a difference. As well as the day job, Cisco employees can take 10 paid days each year to give back in a way that’s meaningful to them, and we have 29?‘inclusive communities’ of Cisco people helping their peers?to advance their careers or support one another in other ways.?

To be clear, I am not saying that we are perfect – of course there are day-to-day frustrations and challenges to overcome. Business can be tough, and the pace of change is relentless. But, when the future of the workplace is hybrid, having a reason to engage with your colleagues has never been more important, and I’m proud that for us here at Cisco in EMEA, WE are the magnet!?
