It's nothing personal... It's math.

1.??????This Week's Hot Tips:

November is all about the numbers. Not just vanity numbers that feed the ego…We’re talking numbers that grow your business. To build your coaching and consulting practice, you will need leads. We are looking for more than a list of emails and phone numbers. We want to attract people and organizations that align with your prospective platinum clients.?Consider these things:

  1. ?This is not personal. It’s math. It typically takes 100 leads to get one client.
  2. With clarity about your ideal client, you know where to look for your leads.
  3. Give yourself a weekly quota for leads too. I shoot to add 100 per week.

2: Book Recommendation: If you want to step your sales game up, spend some time reading the work of Cynthia Barnes.?I am loving the entrepreneur’s application of her book, Reach the Top 1%. She gives action-oriented advice to shift your sales mindset and focus.

5. Ask Keita:

Q: Hello Keita, I really want to grow my business. Lately, I am feeling really frustrated.?I only have a few clients and I am feeling like making this a successful business is so far out of reach. How do you shift from this feeling to feeling hopeful about your business again?

I want you to know you are not alone. This happens to the best of us regardless of how long we have been in business.?Entrepreneurship is 80% mindset and 20% execution.?I think it is important to work on your mental fitness which is different from your mental health.

I highly recommend exploring the work of Shirzad Chamine who wrote Positive Intelligence .?There are daily exercises you can do to help you bounce back from those negative feelings. This book and its programs use breakthrough, research-based tools to strengthen the part of your brain that serves you and quiet the part that sabotages you.
