IT’S ABOUT NORTH KOREA AGAIN!
Haha. Don’t worry there is no nuclear war happening any time soon (Maybe)
It's about North Korean hackers.
From the 2014 Sony Pictures hack to the 2017 WannaCry ransomware campaign, they seem to be playing a real-life version of 'Kim Jong Un's Cyber Revenge,' and they're winning!
Perhaps it's because they have a hidden weapon - a massive computer built like a missile. Or perhaps they just use the same password for everything (spoiler: it's 'ilovekimjongun123').
Well, well, well, it looks like those wacky North Korean hackers have struck again! This time, they managed to breach software firm 3CX and potentially gain access to a bunch of multinationals.
In a shocking twist, the breach appears to be a "supply chain attack leading to another supply chain attack”.
Cryptocurrency firms are believed to have been specifically targeted by the hackers. Maybe they are trying to fund a cryptocurrency like "Kim Coin" or something. What are the chances?
Government and private sector partners are working with the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to understand the breach.
Hollywood may release a blockbuster about ragtag hackers taking down the North Korean government. The trailer being: "No one messes with America's cryptocurrency!".
