March 8, 2019: Dr. Elizabeth Fried interviewed Alan Beaty, a member of THF's Group 21. Alan is a transitioning, Special Operations Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer. Alan is a proven senior executive with a stellar naval career; he excels in program management and leadership with a reputation for meeting highly challenging organizational goals and objectives within a resource-constrained environment. His goal is to serve so that others’ lives are enriched, making a positive difference in the world.

Alan has BS in finance from Illinois State University and an MBA from Florida State University. Alan will retire from active service in June, 2019 and is considering a corporate role in the next chapter of his career.
