It’s not just a crowdfunding campaign—it's a movement. ??

It's been a whirlwind of an August so far, but in the best possible way.

I've had the opportunity to learn so much from?Katelyn Bourgoin, CEO and Lead Trainer of Customer Camp. And I've also had the honor of interviewing?Becky Flint, Founder and CEO of Dragonboat. Both women are doing incredible things—and both have a lot to teach us about how we can make our businesses better.

But before I dive into that, l wanted to talk about something I've been thinking a lot about lately: equity crowdfunding.

I'm convinced it's time to open up these opportunities for everyone. This people-first approach to fundraising is innovating the way people contribute, collaborate and help startups succeed in the future of crowd-infused company creation.

Talking about the startup studio model can be confusing: getting everyone to agree on a single definition is challenging. There are some very divisive opinions about it.?

Some people believe the dual entity model to be the only right way to build a startup studio. Other people think that corporate venture builders can not be considered startup studios and corporates are only useful as a bootstrapping source, but at the same time some of the most known startup studios in the world are corporate-backed.?
