It's Impossible! Why Should You Develop An Omni-Channel Strategy?

Yes, you should be thinking Omni-Channel... Why? "Because It's Impossible!"

Our El Capitan sized buzzword may seem far-fetched, but the fact of the matter is that developing an omni-channel marketing approach is just as daunting as it seems. That's Right! Unlike other marketing trends the omni-channel approach grips an infinite lifetime. This strategy evolves with the ever-changing market ensuring that current as well as up and coming "marketing and sales tactics" are integrated into the strategy. Instead of banking on a few channels to pull you to success, this approach involves having ALL channels capturing the attention of your target audience and converting them to reach your end goals. When your marketing and sales channels leverage off one another to create a symbiotic relationship, it then begins to become one fluid marketing and sales funnel that should be dynamic and sturdy. With Marketing changing as rapidly as it does, it is always a great idea to properly pave the way for consumers to reach you. It may be bumpy at first, but take your time this is an ever-long process. Start with your first channel or even a "proven" marketing template and begin adding channels as you prove them out. You should when adequately established, be able to add channels as they come and go through a dynamic marketing process that has the flexibility to turn and shoot, but the back bone to hone in on your core mission and keep you on your feet. Your program should be highly structured and shouldn't be stuffed with mediocre channels with mediocre performance, rather there should be highly efficient and effective channels that have been worked with, optimized and proven. Only to be added once you have your house in order, this dynamic channel adaptation will be your Darwinian nature that secures your future in the next age.

Remember your omni-channel journey is never over! Whether its marketing or sales this is your horizon and you will never catch it. Although along this journey, you are learning, evolving, and producing at higher levels than if you simply stuck with your leveled-out practices. By the time you think you have reached the end game, Bam! A fresh marketing fad or sales tactic emerges. Whether this ends up being some new tech, personality, or political environment you can either absorb the channel and use this to your advantage, or let it peg you between the eyes leaving you scrambling until you finally come to. By then its gone, and something new has taken its place. So..... Be dynamic and be prepared.

No company, organization, or charity is perfect and they never will be, but striving to be perfect is the driving force that separates the complacent from the innovators. Your Job never ends and when you get to a point where you think you're "doing just fine" and want to coast on your success, Great! You deserve it, but that should be your retirement. Hand over the reins to the next wide-eyed innovator, and remember all the great successes you had while failing to meet your Omni-Channel Goal. You always need something to chase, otherwise what's the point. It's not easy otherwise everyone would be doing it. It takes discipline to chase the sun knowing you will never get there and that is the beauty of an omni-channel strategy.
