Have you ever watched talent shows like The Voice and the X Factor and seemingly, out of nowhere, been struck by singers who are not professionals, but are capable of belting out incredibly high notes?

Then, they kept amazing the public with vocal skills even more outstanding, time and time again, round after round.

So no wonder this kind of performer is a familiar presence at final stages at talent competitions. Those high or unusual notes make a lasting impression on audience members. They remember the goosebumps and keep voting skilled singers through.

I myself, as an Australian business speaker, have taken notice of this impact and I reckon this is the reason I also use my opera singing skills to strike a chord with my audience.
