It's about giving something back.
We are fast approaching the final of the inaugural Broster Buchanan golf competition on The Marquess at Woburn Golf Club. Our regional days were generously hosted and supported by Woburn, Edgbaston and The Mere golf clubs. We have also had some very generous auction prizes donated by amongst others Bath Rugby and Luther Blacklock of Explanar and lutherblacklockgolf.com
I am delighted to announce that we have raised £3000 for our 3 regional charities - Addenbrookes Charitable Trust, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital. I know that the money raised will be used for exceptionally good causes in 3 of the countries leading hospitals.
I would like to express my thanks to all those that have attended the days and for their support of this campaign. I am immensely proud that as a young business we have been able to find the time and resources to put charitable support high up our agenda.
When I founded Broster Buchanan it was vital for me to create a business that was clear in it's objectives and gave something back. It is very easy when you launch a new business to just focus on success but you can measure this in a number of ways. Clearly results are important but so is giving your employees flexible working so they can continue to achieve their career goals whilst balancing their lives; working in an environment with like minded relationship-lead professionals; developing a national network of 6 locations in under 18 months that creates an infrastructure of opportunity for the future; identifying 15 senior directors and managers over that period that between them will have in excess of 150 years experience and most importantly that they are all encouraged to give something back through this experience.
I am delighted that we have been able to support these charities in 2016 whilst growing as fast as we have. If you would like to be part of our ambitious growth plans for 2017 across the UK (particularly London) and help us give even more back please do get in touch with me.
