Start-up of the month??
This time with Rement
The still young spin-off?Rement ?has just won the start-up pitch at NEULAND and is now our start-up of the month. The start-up specializes in the environmentally friendly recycling of concrete. With the help of their technology, reusable sand and calcium carbonate are obtained from demolished concrete along with CO2. So far, the team of six has successfully tested the innovative recycling process in the laboratory. The aim is now to provide companies that recycle building materials and cement producers with such systems so that they themselves can recycle concrete to a high standard and save CO2.
Find out how the company was founded, what challenges had to be overcome and much more in?our PODCAST ?with Felix Baur and Robert Schleinhege from Rement .?

That was the VivaTech 2024
Viva Technology 2024 in Paris, supported by our?Global Horizon Programme , was once again an impressive event for the European and global startup scene. Our teams from KIT-Gründerschmiede had the privilege of participating in the joint stand of the French German Tech Lab (FGTL) and making numerous valuable contacts. We would like to emphasise the strong networking of our teams not only at the FGTL stand, but also at the various side events. These events provided an excellent opportunity to break new ground and initiate sustainable partnerships. The interface with political players such as Daniela Schmitt , Franziska Gifey and Mario Brandenburg , who offered us valuable insights and support, was also a great added value.
