It's Friday, Baby! ???

How come it's Friday already?!

It feels like Wednesday,

and my task list looks like it's just Tuesday! ??

Nonetheless, I got home earlier today because I had scheduled a podcast interview with Mark Whitby .

Before each recording, I feel like I should work on something else instead.

Something urgent.

Something more important.

But the meeting is scheduled already, so I unwillingly open the Zoom app anyway.

For the first 30 seconds, I wait and silently hope the guest doesn't join, so I can go back to some urgent—and most likely not-so-important stuff—just because it would be more comfortable.

But he joins ??

With a big smile!

We start talking.

And it's AWESOME!

As usual, once we push through the initial resistance, and start discussing recruiting industry challenges and opportunities, I feel the energy level going up.

We connect and get in the zone.

Mark shares interesting insights about how recruiting agencies double or triple their revenues thanks to inbound marketing and I cannot wait to implement some of his ideas:

  • "Recruiters should niche down."
  • "Specialized recruiters make more money."
  • "Inbound marketing is more fun than outbound."
