It's expensive

It's expensive

People have a terrible problem with money.

They don’t know what is cheap and what is expensive.

Well, in particular, they don’t understand “value”.

Expensive is spending 30 min more in the car with your family to do your groceries in a crowded and stressful supermarket to save 25$ that day.

Expensive is spending 2 hours or 2 days comparing TVs to save 200$ max.

That’s expensive.

Don’t get it yet?

Would you consider expensive to pay to the best lawyer 1.000$/hour for drafting the perfect contract that can potentially save you millions of dollars in your business?

Would it be expensive?

What if that lawyer was saving you a few years in prison?

Would it be expensive?

Some will still say that “it depends” or “compared to what”.

Once, I had the option to buy two mattress.

The standard one: 1.000$.

The premium one that almost warranted daily deep sleep and no more back pain: 3.000$.

Which one would you buy?

Of course, I bought the cheap one, and I paid 3.000$.

Yes. The cheap one.

Don’t look at 2.000$ more or the 200% more that I paid.

If that mattress serves me well for, I hope, 8 years, or 2.920 days… I ended paying 68 cents extra for every perfect night of sleep.

Or… to put it in another way: One day of no back pain… That’s already a deal to me.

Look.

There is one, or maybe two currencies that you will never recover: time – the clear one - and health.

And all this is a question of mindset.

When you consider an investment any money out instead a expenditure, everything changes.

If you stick in my daily newsletter for long enough, I hope that you understand why a weekend watching Netflix can be really, really expensive.

I also have a course. It is about investing. It may be too expensive or too cheap. You'll never know unless you join the daily newsletter, as you can only access to it, if you are registered.

Join, and smile.
