It's not about doing well, it's about doing good: All in Africa

The last few weeks had me constantly thinking about how many people's lives are impacted in such an immense way. My easy equities account's negative balance makes nights out in town spending looking like the better investment and a constant negative stream of information being stuffed into our faces every time we open social media, trying to make sense of these senseless challenges.

The one take away that really stuck with me is that this lockdown has brought a shift in dynamics about how people go about, some seem to try and ignore reality and focus on doing as well as possible, taking advantage of the stock market crash, increasing their financial position or thinking of ways to adapt and flourish in the current conditions. The fact is, as they say, the survival of the fittest? Yet as these unprecedented times are unraveling my question would be shouldn't businesses, leaders, and "influencers", who are in most terms doing well not start doing good?

My experience with creating the replica OldspringbokJerseys during the World Cup which on its own created a tipping point has opened my eyes to how easy it is to start a movement that can attract attention. When I discovered the All-In Challenge in America, I immediately spoke to my brother, Stephan, and fellow student Stefan Stofberg, and after a few minutes on the phone we immediately started to create such a movement in South Africa. I believe that there is no country in more desperate need for people to step up and make a difference, you see as mentioned, it is all about doing good.

Our challenge to you: ALL IN AFRICA CHALLENGE. The aim is simple, we want to help those in need, that are not well, by doing good, 100 % of proceeds will be donated to NPO's with a specific aim at getting food parcels out to those who so desperately need them. My mom runs an NPO, HEY! who was our first partner and the list includes the Kolisi Foundation, FEED SA, Hannah foundation and HAF. (find a link to directly donate below).

At the time of writing this article, we have spoken to and organised with some of the biggest stars to take hands with us and join the movement: Some of those already on board include: World rugby player of the year Pieter Steph Du Toit, Hanre Pollard , Willie Le Roux , Bobby Van Jaarsveld and not to mention, our Springbok Captain, Siya Kolisi and the most followed South African internationally, AB De Villiers. The challenge will allow these stars to challenge other influencers or celebrities to do the same, by being ALL in for Africa.

How can you help? By liking or sharing this article you are helping us spread the news of this initiative via harvesting the power of social media, if you are in a position to buy tickets, please do buy as this would not only give you a chance to maybe win an unbelievable prize or opportunity, but you are helping the less fortunate. It all is about doing good! (you might even have a great ROI)

For Businesses: the above-mentioned stars with a combined social media following of over 12 million people have shared our website and initiative, this is just the start of a tipping point and where you come in. We want you to be ALL IN, we are looking for companies who want to make a differance to join the movement by creating massive giveaways that people would end up also buying into or donating if possible. If you know of someone that can assist in any way please feel free to email us, [email protected]. Let us do good, together and be ALL in for Africa.
