It's a dirty job....

And some one has got to do it...

Actually - millions of people ARE on the move everyday doing it. Getting their hands dirty, to fix your heater, repair your car, install, build, plant, log, calibrate, mount, save lives, sweep chimneys, extinguish fires and much more...

Clean hands?

With no access to running water, many are left with either using their jeans or wet wipes. Most people choose the latter. It is easy, fast and you fingers are cleaned. At least from visible dirt. However, beware: many wipes contains small amounts of MI (Methylisothiazolinone) or Parabens.

MI is known for causing chronic allergy in even minimal doses - and 3 of the 4 parabens i saw on a Industrial Wipe in the local Hardware store, were on the warning list from the Danish Asthma and Allergy association.

Any alternatives?

There were no real easy alternatives. So we decided to make one. The ShoulderSink provides Water, Soap, Paper so a real handwash can be made anywhere. If you need Handcleaner, Cream, Handrub, it is available too and the bottles can easily be replaced.

But wipes are much cheaper ...... NOT!

With dirty hands, you will easily use 2 or 3 wipes to get most of the visible dirt rubbed off. Then at least one more so your hands feel clean. With 3 wipes out of the box it will often cost €0,15-0,20.

2,5ml soap, 400ml water and 30-40 cm paper is the alternative. And it will cost you less than €0,05 per handwash.

The added benefit are clean hands. No "leaving your skin refreshed" which to me often means slightly sticky with an odeour of decaying flowers after using a wipe. Just plain old clean hands...

The ShoulderSink got launched 2 weeks ago with tremendous feedback from users and advisors. However, we need more dedicated distributors all over Europe – actually all over the world -  in PPE, Construction, Healthcare, Gardening/Foresty suppliers, Industry, Public service... basically any industry where where people have a car and 2 hands.
