It’s Creator Week at Meta!

Since it is creator week at Meta, they are showcasing some new features for creators that you will want to know about. These new features will help expand monetization opportunities, provide tools for content creation and give you an option for selling NFTs.

Here is a rundown of what is coming:

• Fan subscriptions will now be available on Instagram (No commission cut is taken from these)
• New gifts on Instagram Reels to draw more attention and engagement (this is similar to Facebook Stars)
• Onboarding creator Stars are also being tested on Meta. Stars will automatically appear on your content, while also making Stars available on photo and text posts.
• NFT selling is being tested within the Instagram platform. They are creating a toolkit to help users trade and sell NFTs easier on the platform

These are some interesting additions, which contribute to Meta’s broader strategy to build better monetization opportunities for creators, in order to keep them posting, and building in their apps.
