It's Christmas...almost!

Helping business owners in the Black Country to become more confident and lead the life they have always dreamed of
??Whatever your feelings around Christmas, there’s no denying that it’s well and truly on its way! ??
The festive season is a time that brings out a variety of emotions—from excitement over Christmas plans to the stress of year-end deadlines. While I can’t claim to solve all your festive challenges, I hope this edition of The Business Tea Break brings you a moment of calm amidst any chaos.
As a self-confessed lover of Christmas, my decorations are up, my favourite festive socks are on, and my Christmas jumper rotation is in full swing. But I also recognise that this time of year can be tough for many. Whether it’s the pressure of balancing business and personal life or simply trying to get to the end of a challenging year, the festive season isn’t always easy. Whatever your plans for Christmas, I hope you enjoy it your way—whether that means embracing every glittery tradition or taking a quiet moment to recharge.
When I launched The Business Tea Break back in the summer, my goal was simple: to share practical insights, tips, and resources with my LinkedIn network. Running a business is hard work, and sometimes, you just need a short pause to think about how to work on your business rather than just in it.
In the last Tea Break of 2024, I've added some questions that I will be asking myself as I reflect back on this year - why not ask yourself these questions too and take a moment to celebrate the wins, reflect on lessons learned, and look at how you can build on this in 2025.
1?? What were my brightest achievements this year, and how did I accomplish them?
2?? What challenges did I face, how did I overcome them and what did I learn about myself in the process?
3?? What relationships (personal or professional) had the most impact on my year, and how did I nurture them?
4?? What goals did I set at the beginning of the year, and how well did I align my actions to achieve them?
5?? What’s one thing I wish I had done differently this year, and what can I learn from that?
6?? What am I most proud of as I look back on the year, and how can I build on that momentum in 2025?
In case you missed it this year...
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! ??
See you all in 2025 for some more Business Tea Break learnings.
