It’s Not Business as Usual
That's according to OMHRA - Ontario Municipal Human Resources Association and their Fall Conference which so happened to be at Casino Rama earlier this month. So, we sent the two on the team with the highest credit limits and the gift for gab - for the casino and conference - respectfully.
Once again, Leanna DiCecca and Irene Grant engaged many attendees about our portfolio of Leadership Training, also encouraging those willing to provide us with viewpoints on how their municipalities are adapting to disruptions, challenges, and changes in the marketplace, to do so.
These are the top-level highlights from a sampling of 41 HR pros of various levels:
41.5% have not made any significant governing changes whereas 24.4% have pivoted to a new business/governance model.
63.4% have identified remote work and team management as the biggest challenge in the last year.
70.7% have hired new employees to meet demand.
78% have identified the importance of flexibility and adaptability when dealing with market disruptions.
We have more. Reach out and we’ll share the rest with you.

We Have a World Champion – in Singing!?
Most people think they can sing. I think I can do a mean David Bowie when under the influence – of the attention of a bar.?
We, however, have a true vocal champion in our midst. Christine C. Costa , dynamic facilitator for MCE and previous Canadian Karaoke World Championship winner (2018 - 1st place Female and Duets) can somehow channel Celine Dion of all people.?
‘The Show Must Go On’. Ask for Christine for your next training course or backyard party.

Welcoming New Markets
As a result of the previous OMHRA - Ontario Municipal Human Resources Association Spring Conference, we’ve met some folks from the Town of Newmarket (45 minutes north of the 6ix!) who have recently enrolled participants in our FRLE and FRL1 signature courses!
West Elgin (Home to NA's oldest and smallest jail!) and part of County of Elgin , is currently in their own customized FRL1 cohort, following up on their own dedicated Emotional Intelligence & Team Building courses. Complete with a 360 assessment & coaching thereafter.
MAG Aerospace Canada (Specialized aviation services!) has also trusted us with their own Emotional Intelligence & Team Building courses. Good to know for those of us who occasionally travel the skies.
Organizational Solutions Inc. (100% Canadian-owned!) recently underwent Building and Retaining Client Relationships & Accountability Through Impactful Conversations. Feedback was Very Positive!
