It's about The Bigger Pie!

The more one grows in their career, the more they understand the value of having a good network. But why is it important at all?

 A good network will open future avenues for your career development, provide you with possible mentorship/partnership opportunities, will support you in your personal and professional development, keep on you on track with the latest trends in the market, keep you connected and aware, and help you grow to be a better version of yourself.

 However, that is not all. Throughout my career, I have been part of many, many networks. Some were not for me, some were good, some were very good, and very few are amazing and are THE ONE. What makes a network stand out in this way?

 For me, as much as it is important that a network provides all the attributes described before, it is also important that I feel I belong, I feel comfortable, I feel I can contribute, and also count on them when I need support, I feel they are pushing me to develop and I feel we are friends. I have to be honest, it was a long time before I discovered this quality, then I joined The Bigger Pie network.

 The Bigger Pie is a global community of leaders and learners in the blockchain and emerging tech space. Its purpose is to connect and support the incredible women who are already in the space, shine a light on the work they do to highlight these role models. Make sure women have a platform to share their expertise, and enable them to learn and develop their careers together while attracting more women into the sector.

 Being part of The Bigger Pie network has only, and only, been amazing. I might not know everyone who is there but I feel confident and comfortable enough with all of them. I have been pushed to further develop my skills, I have been supported and educated, I have been invited to valuable events and partnership opportunities, I have been approached when I could contribute and help and I have been supported 100% when I needed help.

 I only can say thanks to the great Bridget Greenwood for making such an effort and doing an amazing job by creating and running this amazing network. I can pay back by continuing to be part of it actively and hopefully do the same for others.
