It's been a tough week.

'Easier said than done' is a phrase that keeps recurring in our mind. But once you have got past the stage of lamenting the fact that right now is the only moment that is in our control, you got to take charge.

Some tips that work the best :-

  • Read something uplifting - Universe always provides just what you need, if you are willing to open your eyes and see it. It comes to you in many ways, probably just right now as I write this. So keep yourself open to reading articles/blogs that best suit your interest
  • Take up a hobby - It sounds very simple but its an effort to rekindle the child in you and to hold on to an interest that makes you happy. I recently got back to my love for painting and it keeps me alive.
  • Just move - I personally endorse going to a gym or playing a sport. But if that seems difficult , just move out of your office or home and take a walk. Try taking a 10 minute walk while listening to your favorite music. It genuinely brings mental clarity and breaks the monotony.
  • Take charge of your schedule - You are in charge of how you spend your time, even if it doesn’t always seem that way. If you are stuck in the same routine, try altering your schedule by looking at it with fresh eyes. Assess how you spend each day by looking at the balance of home, work, relationships, self-care, recreation, downtime, and the other important categories in your life. Just because you have been doing things a certain way for a long time doesn’t mean it has to be that way forever.
