It's Been A Rollercoaster ride...

There have been ups; there have been downs so it's a good job I love a rollercoaster ride because the month of March certainly felt like a thrill. This week's edition is less LinkedIn and more Life...

Ever had one of those? Where so many exciting things were coming your way and just as life is full of polarity, there were also things occurring that you couldn't have envisaged...

So my month started with a fall (stop laughing!). Yes a fall; causing a bruised right knee and a sprained (and very painful) middle finger. I know my 'woowoo' friends are all telling me it was a sign to say no to something or someone lol

This was very quickly followed by falling ill, lower back pain (never get back pain), an 'angry left knee' resulting in emergency trips to the Physio. Apparently, my new fitness regime had been a bit too much for me. Ending the month with the dreaded COVID. (Avoided for 2 years only for it to finally catch up with me!)

Could there be anything else waiting around the corner????

Lucky for me, no!

Now here's the thing; I could have quite easily given up and had a pity party. But had no time as whilst all the above was happening, so was this:

So, what's the point of this edition of Leads from LinkedIn?

To remind you, that things don't always go as you want them to. You may create content weekly on LinkedIn, think it's the best piece you have ever produced and yet nothing. No or limited engagement, comments or reactions. You may release your newsletter and get few subscribers than you thought; all your connection invites may not say yes and this month, you may not get one lead.

But remember, if you focus on what is NOT happening, you will get more of what is NOT happening

Change your focus and celebrate on the good that is happening.

  • Your mind and thoughts have the power to determine your state.
  • Your state determines the meaning you make
  • The meaning you attach determines your internal communication
  • Your communication determines your actions and behaviour
  • And it's your actions and behaviour - that defines your RESULTS.

So stay CONSISTENT and PERSISTENT and you'll reap the rewards

And remember, the universe may be simply telling you to take a step back & smell the roses so that you also enjoy the journey

And I definitely enjoyed the journey as got to meet the one and only Lewis Howes (as well as share a stage with him)

Have a good week and until next time...

(I'll bring you more on LinkedIn tactics, I promise!)

Wishing you a speedy recovery Deenita and love your posts. Yes, life surely happens but it's remembering, as TonyR says, life is always happening for you, not to you. Much love and light to you x
