It’s been a minute
What is life, but the way that we use our time and the essence of what comes of it.
And for all that we know this to be true and to be of real impact we can be less than careful about the currency that time represents. "It's been a minute" is a reminder that we need to focus on the risk of time slipping by and the importance of recommitting to our goals and spending time with the people who matter most. When life's pace sweeps us away, we have to leave room for moments of reflection and connection that ground us.
When we say, "It's been a minute," it's a gentle nudge to pause, take stock, and reignite the relationships and aspirations that may have been sidelined. It's about recognizing the gaps on our journey and making a conscious effort to bridge them. Whether it's reaching out to an old friend, revisiting a neglected passion, or realigning with our core values, acknowledging the passage of time can spark a renewed sense of purpose and urgency.
It is a good reminder, a call to action, to reconnect with what truly matters, and to ensure that our path forward is both intentional and aligned with our highest goals. In doing so, we honor our past, enrich our present, and pave the way for a more fulfilling and connected future.
Loving life when I don’t let time slip by
