It's been a hot minute...

Hi folks, and welcome to our new subscribers - kudos to you for subscribing when i'be been so busy, head-down cracking on I haven't had a moment to lift my heard and write!

Anyway, welcome. The summer term is upon us and this year is flying by. Here are a few of our highlights so far...

• We've joined FED UK read more about them here - this is a key opportunity for Gaia Learning to be the voice of SEN and online learning in shaping education policy and practice for the next 2 years (at least!)
• We're off to ITSE in 4 weeks in Denver, CO (here's the website) in partnership with TAG (Take Action Global) - we've been part of TAG as a Climate Action School for nearly 4 years now, it enables our learners to take part in global projects that are created to address the UN sustainable development goals - something we are incredibly committed to and proud to be part of.
• New Team members - there's been a couple since I last wrote, the superstar Marketeer Charlie Kiley, our Ed Psych Inclusion Mentor Dana Klopot and we will be hiring more positions soon to support our family membership (see it here), schools & families so we need more Educators and roles to support our growth internationally. • International Partnerships - we have a partnership with Eduprism in Australia and are talking with organisations in USA about collaborations to support children with ADHD and Autism around the world. If you're interested in partnerships and collaborations please DM me.
• The kids - well as you may have seen from a recent linkedin post, Poppy, my youngest and one of the reasons Gaia Learning exists, now rides to school - it's been a huge help for us all and the physical exercise enables an emotional distraction which support hers in getting through the gates and gives a great sense of autonomy for her. She's 10 in 4 weeks (when I'm in Denver!) and has asked for as much "American candy" as possible - suggestions welcome!!
• Hybrid Learning Hubs - we're working with our partners at the Springboard project to enable young people to learn, online, in groups in a community centre / nurture hub / safe space so that they can gradually work their way back into the classroom. We've had interest from other schools and regions about these too - read more about them here.
• School community - if you're looking for support for your school inc free advice, guidance, training plus Q&A please join our community group here.
