It’s been a big week for Gladstone ???
Yesterday, Gladstone hosted the Central Queensland Hydrogen Forum to explore the billion-dollar opportunities in the emerging hydrogen sector. Australia’s hydrogen export industry is predicted to be worth up to $1.7 billion and create 2,800 jobs by 2030. Regional Queensland is poised to take advantage of hydrogen and renewable energy generation – we’re seeing this right now.
Australian Gas Networks (AGN) will deliver the nation’s first ever hydrogen and gas blend electricity supply to a city, equipping students and workers with innovative and cutting-edge skills in hydrogen energy. We’re proud to have secured this project under our Hydrogen Industry Fund.
As markets in North Asia transition to renewable economies, there is enormous opportunity to export hydrogen and ammonia that play a key part in decarbonisation. We’ve supported Gladstone as home to the $1.61 billion Hydrogen Utility’s project- H2U Hub for large scale production of green hydrogen and ammonia, supporting over 100 jobs: https://statements.qld.gov.au/Statement/2020/2/27/eye-on-gladstone-for-proposed-gigawattscale-green-hydrogen-and-ammonia-development

4 年Is this method truly green or is it sustainable i do not know but this is one company that i have seen the presentation for hydrogen production that does claim sustainable The hazer group (ASX:HZR) process which has a model of sustainability at its core function the other two processes available at the moment that i am aware of in the hydrogen space are technology that claim to be green on the surface but in realty are not. To achieve production hydrogen in these processes you must destroy other elements which produce Co2 and the other process that is proposed has the potential if used on mass to kill the worlds water supply for good. So please consider options for hydrogen that are green and sustainable on an extended bases https://www.hazergroup.com.au/ presentation February 2020
