IT’S BEEN AN AMAZING DAY AND I WANT TO THANK ALL OF YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!

Yesterday I posted that we got our first project and I posted about it on Facebook and LinkedIn. I got so many people wishing me well and congratulating me that I am overwhelmed. I knew that I had a large following on Facebook, over 700 people follow my articles and posts, but the support that I received yesterday was just great. You are all wonderful and I appreciate each and every one of you.

Someone wrote to me on Facebook, “Congratulations, Paul Levine you have been an inspiration to myself and thousand others and you will continue to inspire us. Wish you more greater achievements.” To me, that’s like hitting one great shot in a round of golf. It keeps you coming back. I thanked her from the bottom of my heart and I meant it.

But we spoke to our new client today and it turns out that this project will be many times bigger than I originally anticipated. We are most likely going to build a 3 story self-storage for our client in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I thought that we were going to build a one-story facility but the client wants some of the units temperature-controlled and he wants inside parking for Recreational Vehicles on the main floor. So, it’s a much larger project than anticipated and we are more than capable of completing it.

We don’t have any idea what the Biden administration will do upon the expiration of the one-million-dollar limit of Bonus Depreciation on December 31, 2022, so we will do everything we can to complete the project before the deadline. I’d much rather work with something I know exists than wonder what our government will do when that provision expires.

Today, I also received an email from Ernest Peralta who runs a podcast and he invited me to be his guest next Tuesday, June 1, 2021, and discuss everything that we do at Self Storage Consulting & Construction, LLC and also discuss income taxes as they relate to Real Estate. Ernest’s podcast is titled “Breakthrough Investor in Commercial Real Estate”.

I am a retired Certified Public Accountant but I do still keep up with the current income tax laws so that I can give my clients every benefit they can receive by using us to build their self-storage facilities and by using us to build multifamily housing for them. I work with our clients’ CPAs to get them the best tax treatment as most CPAs do not know about the specific laws as they relate to Real Estate transactions and Bonus Depreciation. The podcast begins at 1 PM.

We also now have a pipeline of projects that will come in and I anticipate that, by the end of 2021, we will be working on 4 or more projects. I have been writing my articles and posting them on Facebook and LinkedIn now for about 5 months and it is now starting to pay off. But what is more important is that I have met some wonderful people along the way and I know that I will come out of this experience with some lasting relationships.

I work with a builder in New York called Chosen Concepts and Jana and David are wonderful people who are extremely capable, creative, and who have some incredible contacts all over the United States. They are so great to work with and I am blessed that I met them. It’s really nice to work with wonderful people who are very good at what they do.
